Hey Teens – Sunday Night After Church is February 25! Church starts at 6 PM, afterwards, we’ll play some great games in the gym and enjoy some snacks. End time is 9 PM. Hope to see you there!
The men of Bible Baptist Church meet the second Saturday of every month for a time of fellowship and Bible Study. These casual gatherings provide an opportunity for fellowship, time in the Word and prayer. They are a simple means for getting to know the other men in the church, and finding time to pray for and to encourage one another. Although the meeting starts at 8:30, many arrive early, and a few even hang around a bit after the meeting is over. Our study is led each month by a different man, and then we finish with a time of prayer together.
Our next meeting will be March 10, at 8:30 in the Fellowship Hall. Feel free to stop for a biscuit (or anything else you would like) and bring it with you. We’ll have the coffee waiting for you.
Vacation Bible School is always one of the highlights of the year at Bible Baptist Church! This year VBS will be held from Sunday, July 9 until Thursday, July 13, from 6:30 until 8:30 pm. There will be classes for children, teens and adults. You and your family will not want to miss this exciting, fun and profitable week. There is no charge of any kind, and a free nursery will be provided every night.
You can register online right now.
We’re going to the ballgame! On Friday, June 16, the bus will load up for a trip to BB&T Ballpark in Charlotte where we will watch the Knights take on the Indianapolis Indians. The Knights are considered one of the best teams in minor league baseball, with many of the major leagues top prospects expecting to move up soon. So if you love baseball, it should be a good night.
Not a fan? It will be still be a good night, enjoying fellowship with the Bible Baptist family AND seeing the fireworks show after the game. BB&T is a great place to watch a game, especially at night.
Cost is $18. Sign up in the lobby by May 3, or see Bob Reed if you have questions.
The Lord has been good to Bible Baptist Church. On Sunday, April 23 we will meet at 11:00 AM to remember His goodness, thank Him for His blessings, and celebrate with our 38th anniversary and homecoming service. We’ll also recognize 38 years of Pastor Parrish’s ministry. This Sunday is always a highlight at BBC and we hope that our whole family will be “home” to celebrate with us that day.
After the service concludes, we will go down to the gym to enjoy a meal together. Then we’ll meet again at 6:00 that evening.
There will be no Sunday School classes that day.
One of the highlights of 2016 at Bible Baptist Church was our Biblical Worldview Conference with Skip Tilton. Skip’s engaging teaching style kept us on the edge of our seats as we learned about the early earth, dinosaurs, the ice age, and dozens of other fascinating insights. Each of those presentations helped us gain a better understanding of the Bible, and how it relates to the world around us and the society in which we live.
Skip is returning to BBC this spring for a second Biblical Worldview Conference, April 2-4. He will speak at 10 and 11 AM, and then again at 6 PM on Sunday. Monday and Tuesday nights the services will begin at 7:00 PM. A nursery will be provided for all services.
Make your plan to attend all three days, and invite someone to join you for these important and informative meetings.
Tom Wallace, Jr. grew up on the mission field. As a young man in England many of his friends and neighbors were Muslims. This early exposure to Islam fueled his curiosity and his desire to better understand those around him. Many years later, having studied Islam extensively, Tom is using what he has learned to help Christian believers in their understanding of this fast-growing religion.
As Islam, and its effects, spread into the United States it is important for Christian patriots to understand the challenges, chart out a strategy and formulate coherent arguments that will enable us to reach Muslims with the gospel. With that in mind, Tom Wallace will be speaking at Bible Baptist Church on Sunday, February 26 at 10 and 11 AM, and again at 6 PM. You wont want to miss any of these helpful, instructive and challenging messages.
On January 20-21 the men of Bible Baptist Church will be going to Conover, North Carolina for the “Shew Thyself a Man” Conference at Emmanuel Baptist Church. The goal of the conference is threefold. The first goal is to make sure every man present has a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Without being saved a man can never be a Christian man.
The second Goal of the conference is to develop a home centered on Christ. The man is the Spiritual head of the home and every man should lead his home in the principles of the Bible.
The third goal of the conference is to encourage the men to carry themselves as a Christian man in society in their day-to-day life. When men let their light shine before the world they will be exposing others to biblical principles and teaching. This affords them the opportunity to tell others of the love of God.
These three goals combine to help a man develop into a Christian Man that the Lord can use. All of our men are encouraged to attend. See Bob Reed for more information.
A great family activity. We will be “taking over” Kate’s Skating for two hours. Bring the entire family from 5 pm – 7 pm on Saturday, January 27. The address to Kate’s Skating is 1530 Celanese Road Rock Hill, SC.

Join the Bible Baptist Church family for a special evening of music and message as we celebrate the birth of our Savior. That night, just outside of Bethlehem, the angels brought the shepherds “good tidings of great joy.” That same sense of amazement and joy fills our heart today as we celebrate His birth, and that joy will be the theme for this year’s Christmas service. You will enjoy familiar carols as well as newer selections from various choirs and musical groups – all with the joyful message of the amazing birth of our Savior. Everyone is invited to stay afterwards for Christmas cookies, hot chocolate and coffee.
