Master Club Is Back!

Master Club Is Back!

Jesus said “Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”  If children were important to Jesus, they should be important to us!  We believe that every boy and girl should have the opportunity to learn the Word of God and throughout the year we have a number of ways for them to do that. One of the most fun and exciting way though Master Clubs.

Master Club is a Bible based program that trains children to serve Jesus though games, memory verses, and other activities. Our mission in Master Club is to …

Evangelize children with understandable and creative ways to present the gospel.

Disciple children by creatively using Bible memory, workbooks, and teacher led interaction.

Train children to serve the Lord through the local church by providing opportunities within and without the church.

Join us each Wednesday night at 7:00 in the church gym – see you there!

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School

2016 VBSJoin us at Cowabunga Farm, Sunday, July 17 through Thursday, July 21, as we experience life on the farm for 5 exciting nights —complete with animals, tractors, and growing crops. As the children learn about God’s faithfulness as revealed in the life of Joseph, they’ll be encouraged to grow in godliness and to trust in God’s plan. We begin each night at 6:30 and we’ll be done at 8:30.

In addition to classes, games, crafts, and surprises for children from 4 years of age through 6th grade, we will be adding a class for parents and other adults this year. Our nurseries will open, too, so that Mom and Dad can take advantage of these practical, Biblical classes on the home and the family. While your children learn about Joseph, we’ll be learning what the Bible teaches us about raising kids and developing strong families.

You can register your child now with our convenient online registration form. As always, Vacation Bible School at Bible Baptist Church is free of charge.

Father’s Day

Father’s Day

This Sunday is a the day that we celebrate Dad. And it’s completely fitting that we do so. The Bible says that we are to honor our fathers (and our mothers), and Father’s Day provides a perfect opportunity to do just that. This Sunday, after our normal Sunday School at 10:00 and Worship Service at 11:00, we will enjoy a meal together as a church family. The church will provide meats and drinks, and our members will be bringing side dishes and deserts. Our guests only need to bring Dad (if you can) and enjoy the day with us.

There will be no service Sunday evening.

Family Video Scavenger Hunt

Family Video Scavenger Hunt

Calling all teens and parents!  We have an exciting family activity planned for Friday, June 10.  The start time is 6 pm at church – we will embark on some adventurous assignments, create hilarious memories, enjoy a good meal, and hear a devotion from God’s Word.  Plan to come and bring the entire family!  Please bring a 2-liter of soda or bag of chips (per family) – the activity will be over around 9 pm.

Men’s Fellowship

Men’s Fellowship

The men of Bible Baptist Church meet the second Saturday of every month for a time of fellowship and Bible Study. These casual gatherings provide an opportunity for fellowship, time in the Word and prayer. They are a simple means for getting to know the other men in the church, and finding time to pray for and to encourage one another. Although the meeting starts at 8:30, many arrive early, and a few even hang around a bit after the meeting is over. Our study is led each month by a different man, and then we finish with a time of prayer together.

Our next meeting will be June 11, at 8:30 in the Fellowship Hall. Feel free to stop for a biscuit (or anything else you would like) and bring it with you. We’ll have the coffee waiting for you.

Biblical Worldview Conference

Biblical Worldview Conference

Is the Bible opposed to science? Do we accept the book of Genesis purely by faith, in spite of “scientific evidence”? How old is the earth? Can we know? What about the dinosaurs? Is a world-wide flood even possible? How could all of those animals fit on the ark? How could a good God allow for so much suffering and death?

Those are just some of the topics that creation evangelist, Skip Tilton, will be addressing May 15-18 at Bible Baptist Church. Skip believes that it is the ministry of the evangelist to serve the local church, and in that capacity, he uses a Biblical Worldview as the starting point and building block to exhort the unsaved to trust the creator, and to admonish the saved to not be swayed by secular humanism and false claims against the Bible and Biblical thinking. By teaching what the Bible says about creation, he emphasizes the major truths of a proper Biblical Worldview, and at the same time exposes the church to the attacks being used against the authority of the Word of God. Many believers aren’t aware of  the issues of Secular Humanism and how prevalent it is in our culture today.

The goal of this Biblical Worldview Conference is to help us learn how to think biblically, provide relevant answers to secular humanism, and challenge the lost to consider the alternative to what they have been taught. Whether you have studied Scripture for a lifetime, just come to know the Lord, or consider yourself to be skeptical about spiritual things, you will find these meetings to be interesting, challenging and helpful.

Make your plan to be at Bible Baptist for every service of this important conference. Meetings will begin on Sunday at 10 AM, 11 AM and 6 PM. We will begin at 7 PM Monday – Wednesday. Invite someone to attend with you!
