Back to (Sunday) School!

Summer is winding down. We’re squeezing in those last few vacation days and looking for back-to-school sales as we prepare for another school year. For most families, that means a return to the normal routines of scheduled bedtimes, practices and Mom’s carpool service. As you set your schedule for the new year, be sure to make regular Sunday School attendance a part of your weekly habit.

During the Sunday School hour, the Bible is taught more interactively. It’s your opportunity to ask questions and participate in the process. Normally, application is made to the specific needs faced by your particular class. As a result, Bible study in smaller groups can have an impact that simply isn’t possible in a larger, more formal service. Plus, your Sunday School class meets away from church from time to time, where class members can get to know one another more casually, and you can be encouraged in our Christian walk. By the way, don’t think that Sunday School is just for the little ones. Although we have a graded Sunday School for babies, children and teens, we also have classes for adults. In fact, we have six different Bible Study classes for you to choose from. You can read about them here.
