The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Women encouraging women. That’s the goal of the ladies ministries of Bible Baptist Church. While preaching is central to all that we do, there are times when the encouraging words of sister in Christ can be timely, effective and life-changing. That’s why our ladies meet together on a regular basis in a variety of ways.
Whether laughing together while snacking on chips and playing games in the church fellowship hall, or weeping with one another late into the night at Women’s Retreat or learning together at a special conference, you will be encouraged – and encourage others – in this special ministry.
Ladies Fellowships
Nearly every month the ladies of Bible Baptist Church get together to do something. It could be a brunch, a game night at the church or a Saturday afternoon at a local event. Whatever the activity, our ladies have learned how to enjoy themselves and to enjoy the company of others. Watch the calendar to see what they have planned next.
Retreats
These retreats are a ladies “getaway”. Some are single day trips, others take them out of town over night. The goal is to leave the routine and distraction of “everyday life” behind and to be encouraged in the Word of God with sisters in Christ. Sharing together, praying and simply being encouraged by others in similar circumstances can be real blessing.
Ladies’ Sunday School Class
Many of the ladies at Bible Baptist attend a couples’ Bible Study class on Sundays with their husbands. with their husbands. But if you prefer, we invite you to the Berean Bible Study class for women, featuring clear Bible teaching with special emphasis for ladies. Sue Clark leads these practical lessons every Sunday morning at 10:00 in room 111.
Annual Ladies’ Conference
A highlight of the year is the annual Ladies Conference held at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown, NC. You will enjoy the featured speakers, special music, skits, and workshops.
