The celebration of the resurrection of Christ is a day that we always look forward to. While every Sunday is a remembrance of our Lord’s victory over death, Easter allows us a special day of reflection and praise. After all, it is through His resurrection that eternal life is possible for us! It makes sense, then, that Easter Sunday is one of the most attended days of the year at Bible Baptist.
This year, in addition to special music and a message that focuses on the meaning and power of Christ’s resurrection, we have some special events planned for our families. Sunday School and Adult Bible Study Classes will begin at 10:00, followed by the Worship Service in the auditorium at 11:00. The children will go to the Family Life Center at that time for some special activities and some time in God’s Word. There will be games, a bounce house, and an Easter lesson for each age group.
After the service, we’ll head outside to watch the children take part in the Easter Egg hunt. There will be some special prizes, too, so don’t leave too quickly! Tickets for the hunt will be distributed during the 11:00 service in the Family Life Center.
There will be no Evening Service on Easter.
