We have seen that God repeated the promises of His covenant with Abraham on multiple occasions. Finally, that promise was fulfilled, but later God tested Abraham’s faith in God’s promises by asking him to do the unthinkable. In the end, Abraham demonstrated his faith in God’s absolute faithfulness.
