When the people of Israel turned their hearts back to God and removed the idols from their lives, God blessed them with peace. But when they turned away from God and followed their own desires and began to worship false gods again, God brought judgment upon them. May we remain faithful today and guard our hearts from any “idols” that could pull us away from the Lord.
