A Pure Church

Words like “abstinence,” “purity,” and “holiness” are not often heard in our 21st-century culture. Nor were they ideas that were prevalent in first-century Greece. But when the Apostle Paul wrote to the church at Thessalonica, he told them that one of the outgrowths of their sanctification would be a pure lifestyle. Those principles are still valid for us today.
