Teen Ministries

The youth group at Bible Baptist Church exists to help teens know and embrace truth in a culture full of confusion and lies. Each week, teens will come together to deepen their faith, meet new friends, and create lasting memories. Our youth staff and volunteers are committed to helping you navigate your teen years with biblical courage and wisdom. Regardless of where you may be on your personal journey of faith, we invite you to experience Jesus Christ on a personal level and see for yourself the difference He will make in your life.

What We Believe

There are many questions that teens face. What happens when I die? Where will I spend eternity? What should I do with my life? etc. and we believe that the bible gives the answers to all of them. 2 Timothy 3:16 tells us that “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” But the single most important question that you will ever answer is this – “If I were to die today, would I spend eternity in Heaven with God?” Your relationship to Jesus Christ is central to the answer to that question.

The Bible tells us in 1 John 5:13, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life…” The simple truth is Jesus loves you, and He wants you to know that you’re going to Heaven!

What We Do

We believe that teens should enjoy coming to church. Every week, you’ll be able to participate in our weekly Wednesday night Bible study where you’ll be able to hang out with friends, play fun games, and most importantly learn practical Bible truths that will help you navigate life! But that’s not all we also have crazy activities, summer camps, youth conferences, and missions trips that allow you to connect with other teens and grow throughout the year.

Trust us, you won’t want to miss out on this.

Wednesday Night Bible Study 7:00 PM

Join your friends and ministry leaders for a one-hour study of practical truths from the Bible about how to become the man or woman God wants you to be.

Teen years can be confusing, difficult, and challenging! But they can also be awesome! Through Wednesday classes, monthly activities, and summer camps the teens at BBC are challenged and equipped to live for Christ while they are in their youth. We do everything within our power to provide the Bible-based wisdom that teens need, combined with a safe friendly atmosphere that teens enjoy so that your teen will continue serving God throughout their life!

Real Friends

Everyone wants good friends – the kind of friends who will be there for you when you really need them but the best friends are the ones who share the common bond of knowing God personally as their savior and wanting to live for him. If you’re tired of pretending to be someone so that other people will accept you… quit playing the game. Quit risking your future for someone else’s approval. Find real friendships and support at the Bible Baptist Church Youth Group and in Jesus Christ!

Parents of Youth

Parenting teens can be incredibly difficult. It is our goal here at Bible Baptist Church to partner with you in training your Children to live for God in their lives, through regular weekly meetings and activities throughout the year. We do not seek to replace or usurp the authority of parents but rather seek to reinforce the biblical principles that you are already trying to instill in them at the home.

If there is a specific question or problem you face as the parent of a teenager, please call us at 803.547.2761 and we will be happy to do our best to help.
