We would like to give Thanks and Praise to God for the blessings our church has experienced in 2010 and 2011. We have seen growth and we have not been affected by the recession and economic woes as a church and supporter of Missions. Several of our families have experienced hardship by losing jobs and some have had to take whatever work they can get and make less income. The Church has been involved in benevolence to do what we can to help in this regard.
We gave $84,000 to Missions last year and should do that or more this year. we recently sent over $2250 to the Ukraine to purchase shoes for the deaf and Orphans and kids associated with the Church in Simferopol the Van Sants established. Joy and I had the privilege to visit there for 8 days and see the work first-hand. On their 15th anniversary celebration they had 70 in deaf church and 114 in the hearing service.
Bible Baptist averages a little over 200 per Sunday in our main morning service and we have wonderful ministries for Children and Teens on Sunday and Wed. nights.
